Impressed by Nature Collection necklace by House of Shiny Objects
Shinrin-Yoku Forest Bathing

My Shinrin-Yoku collection features natural wood grain patterns - many of these are molded from pieces of wood that I find while hiking in the Tahoe National Forest. The collection is meant to remind wearers of therapeutic time spent in the silence of forests.

These pieces may be bronze, sterling silver (.925), fine silver (.999), or fine silver with keum-boo.

OOAK Bead work

My original Bead work is hand woven with Japanese seed beads, Swarovski crystals, and semi-precious stones.  Many pieces also feature beads that have been upcycled from broken or outdated pieces of jewelry that I find yard sales or thrift stores..

My designs are largely 3-dimensional and are heavily Art Nouveau inspired - featuring floral motifs and patterns with a modern edge. A friend once described my style as alt-antique.

Leather and Crystal

My Leather pieces are hand painted, and hand-appliqued with Swarovski crystal rhinestones.  Many also feature stones that I cut and set myself in brass or sterling silver.
